The daily activities for preschool and school-age children did not include developmentally appropriate play experience and activities as evidenced by when children arrived for the day the immediately sat down to eat and remained in the chairs until additional staff arrived and children were taken down from the chairs, changed and taken to the play area(s). One child was observed already seated in a trayed-chair upon CCFS Poskin's arrival at 7:05 AM and she was not taken down from the chair until 9 AM. She did have a book on her tray upon CCFS Poskin's arrival and then food was given to her. However, 2 hours in a chair is not developmentally appropriate.
