A caregiver exhibited behavior that did not show the individual to be of good character and intent and qualified to provide care to children as evidenced by due to the Director vacancy, Brenda Baumbach was the Acting Director throughout the inspection and stated that she had been doing so since the position became vacant in August 2017. Brenda Baumbach's background screening results from March 2016 indicate that she is allowed on the premises based on the duties the facility stated Ms. Baumbach would be doing, which included kitchen/janitorial duties. The form further restricted Ms. Baumbach from conducting any fiscal duties in the facility. For the renewal, the facility was required to resubmit the background screening request and indicated to the Family Care Safety Registry that Ms. Baumbach's duties were still just kitchen/janitorial duties, which were not what was observed during the renewal inspection. .
