The premises were not safe and suitable as evidenced by due to severe storms on the evening of 4/30/2019, there was some water leakage into 2 classrooms. Director Simmons had already accommodated for the children in these classrooms to be cared for in other classrooms and clean up with industrial fans and carpet shampoos was in progress.

The provider did not meet requirements for requests/results of a criminal background check. A child care staff member(s), all staff have gotten fingerprints and are awaiting results, except for Amanda White and Jessie Decastro who already have their eligible letters on file, from the Section for Child Care Regulation. During the 2018 legislative session, the MIssouri General Assembly passed House Bill 1350 requiring all childcare workers and volunteers in the State of Missouri to complete a comprehensive background screening, was/were employed/present prior to the provider requesting the results of a criminal background check.
