The wading pool used by children was not properly treated, cleaned and/or maintained as evidenced by CCFS observed an empty blow up wading pool on the play yard, provider stated they use the pool with a few inches of water only, however no filtration or other water treatment used.

19 CSR 30-61.085 Physical Requirements of the Family Day Care Home 3 (B) 2 states: Swimming and wading pools shall have a water filtration system. The water in swimming and wading pools shall be treated, cleaned and maintained in accordance with health practices and rules as determined by the local or state health authority, or both.

Swimming and wading pulls used by children shall be constructed, maintained and used in a safe manner as required.
