Violation The facility did not have a fenced outdoor play area that was on or adjoining the day care property and was accessible without hazard as evidenced by the fence had openings large enough for a child to crawl or fall through - the openings measured 9 inches or more at the bottom of the fencing in several areas can be easily pushed out and/or lifted up to allow a child to crawl under the fencing. CCFS advised bottom of fencing must be secured to prevent being able to lift up or push out more than 3.5 inches in height. An outdoor play area used exclusively for school-age children shall not be required to have a fence.
