Violation
The facility's outdoor space was not safe for children's activities as evidenced by fungus growing around the edges and the top of a tree stump on the playground. There were pieces that had been recently picked off of the stump laying on the ground. On August 20, 2020, CCFS Koetting noted the fungus was still accumulating around the base of the tree stump. On September 3, 2020, CCFS Koetting conducted a re-inspection and observed the fungus still growing on the tree. CCFS Koetting observed that the tree stump has been painted and the fungus is no longer present .
