The door leading to the kitchen/eating area was closed. CCS Smith asked the child if he was supposed to be in the room alone, but he didn't answer. After standing and talking to the child for approximately 45 seconds, Karen Wilkerson, designated person in charge opened the door and told the child to go to his cot in the front nap room. Karen stated he had just left the eating area and was supposed to be going to his cot.
