2 17 MIXED At arrival there were 11 children, including 4 under 2 years in the playroom with one caregiver Marlenia Cook. In the kitchen located off the playroom was Kay Cook, assistant. Inside the home, in the living room off the kitchen were 6 additional preschool age children and Mike Cook, household member. Marlenia Cook stated that all 6 children up sitting in the living room were her grandchildren and they were just staying up there with their grandpa. When asked for the files of all the children present, including the ones upstairs, she stated that she doesn't keep files on her grandkids and she doesn't have any files on any of the children under 2 years of age as she is helping another provider out so she doesn't have anything for those. Of the files Marlenia had the following are the ages of the children in the main playroom: 2 three-year-olds, 2 two-year-olds, 2 four-year-olds and 1 five-year-old. There were 4 younger children present in the playroom; however, no file was available for any of those children. Marlenia did state that those 4 children were under two-years-old. In the living room of the house there were 6 children, none of which had a file. Marlenia stated the ages of those children were: 1 two-year-old, 2 three-year-olds, 2 four-year-olds and1 5-year-old. Marlenia stated these children were grandchildren and great grandchildren. Around 11:50am, 2 of the children in the home left on the school bus to go to the early childhood program.
