The number of children was/were exceeded as evidenced by the facility is licensed for 20 children; however 28 children were present. On 10/27/21 a re-inspection was completed and there were twenty one children present. On 11/9/21 a re-inspection was completed and there were 25 children present.

5 CSR 25-500.042 Licensing Process (18) states: The number and ages of children a group child care home or child care center is authorized to have in care at any one time shall be specified on the license and shall not be exceeded except as permitted within these rules.

A caregiver was not knowledgeable of the needs of children as evidenced by staff did not know how many children they were caring for. The director, Torrie Helms did not know how many students were present and she asked the 17y/o YMCA staff member how many students were present and he thought there were 17-18 students. A count of students showed there were 21 students present.
