On October 14, 2021 the director Nena Koelling stated that the comprehensive background screening process was never conducted on Carol Burns prior to her presence in the child care center. Carol Burns stated on December 30, 2021 that her first and last day at the child care center was October 7, 2021. Nena Koelling stated on October 14, 2021 that Carol Burns has not worked at the child care center any additional days after October 7, 2021.
