Department staff were not permitted access to the premises as evidenced by CI Watkins arrived to the premises at 11:40 a.m. CI Watkins had on a State of MO ID badge in plain view. The front desk called the center and was not able to reach anyone and refused to allow CI Watkins back to the childcare center. After waiting 20 minutes CI Watkins walked over to the preschool building and had to wait another 5-7 minutes as entrance was not granted. The staff Deanna Nash stated that she had to check with the Director to ensure she could allow CI Watkins entry. CI Watkins was finally allowed entry and was told that the Director was in a meeting. CI Watkins hand delivered a business card to Deanna Nash. CI Watkins completed a walkthrough and went back over to the main building. The lady at the front desk finally allowed CI Watkins entry and apologized.
