An animal, a black cat, which may pose a threat was accessible to the children in care as evidenced by the black cat was sleeping in a deck chair outside as you exit the child care program and enter into the fenced in playground. The provider stated that the cat was not the child care center's cat, the provider shooed the cat off of the premises with CI Ray-Warnke present.

Every three (3) years the center director, group child care home provider, all other caregivers, and those volunteers who are counted in staff/child ratios in a group child care home or child care center licensed to provide care for infants less than one (1) year of age shall successfully complete department-approved training regarding the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) safe sleep recommendations contained in the American Academy of Pediatrics Task Force on Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. For the calendar year of 2021, the staff listed need the following information: Claudene Long needs 2.25 hours for 2021, Robert Long needs 8 hours for 2021, Heather Wall needs a additional 5 hours for 2021 (Heather Wall already has 3 hours in 2022 that need to be transferred back to 2021, Heather Wall also already has 4 hours in 2021).
