Constructive, age-appropriate methods of discipline were not used as evidenced by multiple children made statements that children spanked with a yard stick ruler by multiple staff. All staff denied the statements made by the children. In addition, two children stated that a teacher grabbed and dragged a child. The teacher denied the statements made by the two children regarding a child being dragged.

5 CSR 25-500.182 Child Care Program (1) (C) 3. states: Only constructive, age-appropriate methods of discipline shall be used to help children develop self-control and assume responsibility for their own actions.
