2 13 MIXED Caregiver Renee Clark with thirteen children aged 1y/o, 1y/o, 2y/o, 2y/o, 3y/o, 3y/o, 3y/o, 3y/o, 4y/o, 4y/o, 5y/o, 5y/o and 9y/o. The nine year old, four year old and two five year old twins are adopted children. The facility has an overlap that is in effect due to an emergency school closing. Assistant Terry Clark arrived during the inspection.

5 CSR 25-400.085 Physical Requirements of the Family Day Care Home (3) (B) 3. states: Swimming and wading pools shall be fenced to prevent access by children. For family day care homes initially licensed after the effective date of these rules, the fence shall be at least forty-two inches (42") high and shall have a locked gate. Above-the ground pools may use a forty-two inch (42") fence around the top of the pool with barricades of the steps to the pool deck.

The requirements for sleeping materials were not met as evidenced by 4 children 12 months or older was/were sleeping/napping on a blanket on the ground. Cots were stored in the corner of the room and were not down. Provider advised she is switching to nap mats due to the children rolling off of the cots. Provider placed the cots down and put the napping children on them.

5 CSR 25-400.095 Furniture, Equipment and Materials 1 (B) 1 A states: A cot, bed, sofa, padded playpen or crib shall be provided for each child who naps or sleeps. An individually assigned sheet and blanket shall be provided for each child twelve (12) months and older who naps or sleeps. Upper levels of bunk beds shall not be used.
