Violation
Soft objects, loose bedding or any object that can increase risk of entrapment, suffocation or strangulation was observed as evidenced by there were 2 children under 12 months asleep in a crib. One child had a blanket curled up next to him and a second infant was covered with a blanket. Disucssed this with both Debra and Destiny who both stated they have taken safe sleep training and have reviewed the safe sleep policy and are aware children cannot have a blanket in the crib. Debra stated they are security blankets and help them fall to sleep and they usually remove them, but had failed to do so. Discussed that they cannot have a blanket in the crib and Debra removed them (one child was 9 months old and one was 10 months old).
