An outdoor play area used exclusively for school-age children shall not be required to have a fence. Violation The facility's outdoor space was not safe for children's activities as evidenced by broken wooden door, rusty wrought iron fence with multiple exposed nails, loose fencing boards, nails on the ground, cigarette butts, broken pole for an outdoor umbrella stand with sharp edges, and broken door/window screen located in patio area to the left of the wheelchair ramp to the entryway. In that same area, the white lattice located under the wheelchair ramp was detached from the ramp itself, allowing entry to the space under the ramp. Additionally, the railing by the gate to the concrete patio area is detached.
