On January 23, 2023, manager Keith Guerra, stated he has given a verbal and written warning to caregiver, Marlene Boeve, after she was observed batting a child's hand down by caregiver, Jacqulynn McCool.
On January 23, 2023, caregiver Jacqulynn McCool, stated she observed Marlene Boeve batting a child's hand down on two occasions. She reported the first incident to Keith Guerra immediately. Keith checked in with her later and she reported to him that she had seen it happen once more. The child does not cry or react, and there are no red marks or bruises left.
On January 23, 2023, caregiver Marlene Boeve, stated she has batted or "swatted" a child's hand down. She has since learned that it is not allowed. It was not hard enough to leave a red mark or bruise.
