On June 3, 2025, the Office of Childhood (OOC) received a report alleging that there's no boss at the facility. After conducting an investigation, Compliance Inspector (CI) Curtis West has found this allegation to be substantiated based on the following evidence:
5 CSR 25-500.102(2)(A)3., which states "The licensee is required to maintain an approved certificated group child care home provider or center director on staff."
AND
5 CSR 25-500.102(2)(A)6., which states "The center owner(s), or the board president or chairperson, shall notify the department immediately when there is a change of directors and shall have a qualifying criminal background check on file as required by 5 CSR 25-600.020 General Requirements."
On June 5, 2025, CI West interviewed Assistant Director Brian Rivera, Caregiver Gabrielle Sproles, Caregiver Ashlynn Gharmalkar, Caregiver Alysa Sanders, Caregiver Shianne Bauer, and Caregiver Goldie Hoy. Brian stated that there isn't a director on staff currently at the daycare.
Alysa, Shianne, and Goldie provided consistent information. They stated that there isn't a director on staff.
Ashlynn and Gabrielle provided consistent information. They stated that they thought Princess was the director.
On June 5, 2025, CI West interviewed LLC member Princess Harris, who stated that the daycare has been without a director since May 1, 2025. She had not notified her facility inspector that there was a change in directors.
On June 5, 2025, CI West conducted a walkthrough of the facility and did not observe an approved center director on staff.
