On October 24, 2025, the Office of Childhood (OOC) received an allegation that: The daycare van has license plates thar expired July 2025. After conducting an investigation, Compliance Inspector (CI) Michelle Honea has found this allegation to be substantiated based on the following evidence:
5 CSR 25-500.222(9). which states: "All vehicles used to transport children shall be licensed in accordance with Missouri law."
On October 28, 2025, Compliance Inspector (CI) Michelle Honea conducted an unannounced inspection to the facility and interviewed Megan McCubbin and Director Heather Greathouse (via the phone).
Director Heather Greathouse and Megan McCubbin were both unaware that the plate / tag was expired on the transport van. Director Heather Greathouse stated the tags would be corrected immediately.
On October 28, 2025, CI Honea observed the daycare transport van to have expired plates / tags from July 2025.

The facility shall notify all staff members of the violations which were substantiated, and specify the actions to be taken by all staff in order to comply with all violations cited. A copy of the memo, letter, or staff meeting agenda shall be submitted to the Office of Childhood.
