| If at any time a resident or prospective resident is diagnosed with a communicable disease, the department shall be notified within seven (7) days and if the facility can meet the resident ' s needs, the resident may be admitted or does not need to be transferred. Appropriate infection control procedures shall be followed if the resident remains in or is accepted by the facility . I/II
