Fire Extinguishers. (D) All fire extinguishers shall bear the label of the Underwriters ' Laboratories (UL) or the Factory Mutual (FM) Laboratories and shall be installed and maintained in accordance with NFPA 10, 1998 edition. This includes the documentation and dating of a monthly pressure check. II/III 8/18/2022   
Emergency Lighting. (B) The lighting shall be supplied by an emergency service, an automatic emergency generator, or battery-operated lighting system. This emergency lighting system shall be equipped with an automatic transfer switch. II 8/18/2022   
Poisonous or toxic materials consist of the following categories: insecticides and rodenticides; disinfectants, sanitizer and related cleaning or drying agents; and caustics, acids, polishes and other chemicals. Each of these three (3) categories set forth shall be stored and physically located separate from each other. All poisonous or toxic materials shall be stored in locked cabinets or in a similar physically separate place used for no other purpose which is not accessible to residents. II 8/18/2022   
Ice shall be dispensed only with scoops, tongs or other ice-dispensing utensils or through automatic self-service, ice-dispensing equipment. Ice-dispensing utensils shall be stored on a clean surface or in the ice with the dispensing utensil ' s handle extended out of the ice. Between uses, ice transfer receptacles shall be stored in a way that protects them from contamination. Ice storage bins shall be drained through an air gap. III 8/18/2022
